Founder Kenneth Fischburg became the owner and CEO of a small distribution company at just 24 years old. His company, Consumers Interstate Corp in CT distributed thousands of supplies that companies use every day.
Kenn believed in protecting his ideas by securing his intellectual property with registered trademarks. He trademarked a plan to win customers by helping them streamline their online procurement process for the multitude of supplies and named it "Lean Procurement". Through disciplined planning and strategic execution, he helped grow the company into a national leader in ecommerce and pioneered an innovative online procurement solution known as SuperSupplies.com. He trademarked the name Priority Program which provided extra services for his best customers. He also trademarked the online buyer's budget called The Silent Supervisor which dramatically controlled spending by displaying where the buyer stood on their monthly spending budget right at the point of ordering.
Kenn's objective was to increase sales every year. His goal was 15% per year increase. The strategy was to win new customers; widen the line of products he could provide and acquire competing companies. His slogan was, Make Ordering Easy. His main Tactic was to provide a web-based ordering system that enabled customers to easily consolidate their orders and streamline their procurement process.
In 2005, Kenn received a US business method patent for his ecommerce solution that helped customers streamline their procurement process, online. Kenn has experience in securing Intellectual Property and the enforcement necessary to protect against infringers.
Kenn sold his company in 2018 to a large competitor. That was his plan.
